Employer Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnerships Officer to join our team at CPA Ontario. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Canada's accounting profession.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate student experience reports to ensure compliance with established criteria, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to foster mutually beneficial training experiences for students and organizations.
- Collaborate with employer organizations to establish and implement pre-approved CPA student training programs, ensuring rigorous standards and compliance.
- Monitor and enhance pre-approved CPA student training programs to optimize learning and development outcomes, taking proactive steps to guide employers towards program effectiveness and student success.
- Champion and execute projects at provincial and national levels to drive innovation and impact, leveraging your expertise and experience to shape the future of Canada's accounting profession.
- Post-secondary graduate and CPA member with over 3 years of impactful experience in both public accounting and corporate environments.
- Well-versed in practical experience standards and adept at utilizing PERT to ensure accurate documentation.
- Dynamic communicator and relationship builder with exceptional verbal and written skills, capable of fostering relationships and delivering compelling presentations.
- Digitally fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, leveraging these tools to streamline operations and enhance project outcomes.
- Extremely organized and efficient, with a proven ability to plan, multitask, and execute projects with demanding timelines.
