Join Our Team at Borea Construction
As an integral part of our operations, the Electrical Systems Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Project Manager. This role focuses on overseeing activities related to the Collector Infrastructure and ensuring that all necessary permits are secured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to various construction sites as required, ensuring effective coordination across multiple locations.
- Assist in the preparation of contracts essential for the execution and oversight of work involving subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Support the Electrical Superintendent in managing tasks specific to the collector infrastructure.
- Confirm and align electrical engineering and maintenance requirements with field teams and electrical subcontractors.
- Monitor the progress of work on the collector infrastructure and generate periodic reports.
- Collaborate with the electrical superintendent, environmental engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless construction operations.
- Coordinate the installation of essential systems with project engineers, addressing site-specific challenges.
- Develop and implement a quality assurance program for all work related to the collector infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to technical procedures, particularly regarding safety protocols, in collaboration with the Project Engineer.
- Actively participate in the execution of safety programs and assist the Prevention Officer in implementing necessary traffic controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to the working hours of construction sites.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
