Electrical Coordinator Job Description

At Borea Construction, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Coordinator to join our team for the Collector System and Substation project. As an Electrical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the work related to the Collector System and Substation, ensuring that permits are obtained and all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Act as an expert in the development of the collector system and optical cables, working closely with the Project Manager and Electrical Superintendent.
  • Travel to construction sites across Quebec, collaborating with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Coordinate construction activities, ensuring compliance with technical procedures and quality control measures.
  • Develop and implement the quality control program for work related to the collector system.
  • Participate in the implementation of the prevention program and support the Prevention Officer with respect to traffic controls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or relevant college training.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Mastery of the Office suite and IT tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English and French.
  • High geographical mobility and availability according to the working hours of the construction site.
  • Valid driver's license.
