Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Venture Carpets. This is a permanent position that offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Work Environment

The role involves working in settings that include:

  • Machinery installation

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Assembling mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Identifying and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions
  • Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain work requirements
  • Repairing or replacing defective machinery components
  • Fabricating necessary parts during maintenance or set-up
  • Estimating costs and materials for projects
  • Conducting routine maintenance on machinery
  • Operating machining tools for part fabrication
  • Programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Installing machinery and equipment
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
Equipment Proficiency

Experience with the following equipment is essential:

  • Automated and robotic systems
  • Electrical and electronic controls
  • High-speed packaging machinery
  • Industrial and stationary engines
  • Power tools
