Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Specialist with a passion for universal design in diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience implementing universal design strategies and a strong understanding of accessibility regulations and standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on dynamic projects both locally and globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on design projects
  • Provide expert advice on accessibility matters
  • Review drawings and materials for compliance with standards
  • Identify and address accessibility barriers
  • Stay updated on accessibility regulations and best practices
  • Present findings to advisory committees
  • Assist in ensuring universal design compliance during construction

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a portfolio and a background in architecture or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience with universal design, knowledge of various regulations, and proficiency in design software are required. Certification in Accessibility Built Environments is a plus.
