Livestock Handler

Bruce Farrer Farm is seeking a reliable and hardworking Livestock Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our farm staff, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our livestock, including feeding, monitoring health, and performing general farm duties.
Work EnvironmentOur farm is located in a rural area, and you will be working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
Responsibilities- Feed and tend to livestock
- Monitor animal health and perform basic first aid
- Clear fields of wood and stones
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Perform general farm duties
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train
- or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual labour
- Gasoline paid
