Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Southern Ontario Business Unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the best in the industry and develop your skills on a diverse range of projects that vary in scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in a variety of sectors, including civil infrastructure, and demonstrate company values and cultural behaviors.
  • Develop delegation skills and progress on leading project deliverables.
  • Serve as an orientation buddy to new project managers.
  • Learn about all our service lines and develop expertise in deliverables.
  • On-site organization of contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

  • A university degree or diploma in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or project management (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and an eagerness to learn and contribute to meeting project deliverables.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management consulting supporting the delivery of projects in areas such as construction, engineering, or architecture.
  • Recent experience delivering projects in the civil infrastructure sector is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous exposure to consultant and design management, construction contract administration, or project financials is an asset.
  • A results-oriented approach with the ability to take action and responsibility.
  • Exceptional detail orientation, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines and client expectations.
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
  • CAPM designation, PMP, and LEED accreditation would be an asset.
