Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient transportation operations.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including dispatching equipment.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient transportation services.
  • Maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient transportation operations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics, including transportation planning and coordination.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and practices, including cross-border dispatching.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
