Position Overview:
The primary aim of this Clinical Specialist role in Cardiac Rhythm and Electrophysiology is to assist the Divisional Manager in fulfilling the division's objectives. This position is essential for enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth through dedicated clinical support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commercial Support: Act as the main resource for clinical assistance, addressing a variety of issues related to electrophysiology procedures, device implantation, troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
• Educate clients on the advantages and appropriate clinical applications of company products through presentations and demonstrations, ensuring they are informed about the latest advancements in products, therapies, and technologies in the industry.
• Conduct clinical and literature research and engage in case reviews and clinical observations in collaboration with physicians and hospital laboratory staff.
• Attend implant procedures and support electrophysiology activities in hospital labs and operating rooms, ensuring patient and customer success with the implanted devices.
• Meet with current and prospective clients to assess their clinical needs, objectives, and constraints related to patient care, demonstrating how company products can assist in achieving their goals.
• Build professional relationships with hospital staff through networking, meetings, and participation in conferences to identify key decision-makers for future sales opportunities.
• Address complex customer inquiries and complaints regarding products and services by devising innovative and practical solutions or collaborating with relevant personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal responses.
• Clinical Trial Support: Oversee and provide technical assistance for clinical trial activities within the designated territory, supporting the site authorization process and study protocols as outlined in the clinical investigational plan.
• Deliver initial and ongoing training, education, and support for clinical center personnel on trial protocols, clinical processes, and the products and features under investigation.
Required Qualifications:
• A university degree (BSc or equivalent) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical support role within the medical device or hospital sector, specifically in cardiac sciences.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting ECGs.
• Familiarity with electrophysiology procedures.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional clinical support that fosters excellence in the field.
• Strong business insight and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to travel across Canada.
