About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FSQA Technician to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production materials, equipment, and processes to identify and address potential quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and other stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent future quality issues.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of quality control data, including key performance indicators and trend analysis.
  • Provide training and support to production employees on quality awareness and best practices.
  • Ensure that all food safety principles and regulatory requirements are met, including HACCP and GMP compliance.
  • Participate in shelf life testing and other quality-related projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary education in a relevant field, such as food science or quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
