Centre Director Job Description

At EMCO Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Centre Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for achieving sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing goals through the recruitment, development, and management of the Profit Centre Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve sales and operational targets
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • College and/or University degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of wholesale distribution experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make sound business judgments
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and its trends
  • Experience using Trend and Eclipse software systems
