Position Overview

We are collaborating with a prominent international agricultural trading firm that presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned pulses trading expert to enhance their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a self-sourced portfolio while expanding engagement with a diverse range of existing clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure optimal service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Conduct cost analysis for sales, factoring in potential expenses related to finance and logistics.
  • Analyze market data to gain insights and inform trading strategies.
  • Report directly to the Trading Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 7-10 years of merchandising experience with a strong focus on pulses, including peas, lentils, chickpeas, and plant-based proteins.
  • Established relationships with key stakeholders such as food manufacturers and wholesalers, particularly within the US market.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, segmentation, and pricing strategies across various products.
  • Proficient understanding of marketing principles and product positioning to maximize trade values.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
