We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Associate to join our team at Emerald Lane Recruitment. As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our cannabis products.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Oversee Quality Assurance operations, ensuring compliance with Health Canada regulations and industry standards.
- Manage day-to-day QA activities to uphold product quality and regulatory adherence, including preparation for and participation in internal and external audits.
- Prepare and review batch production records and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Complete process validation for new processes and products, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance in a regulated environment, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Hands-on experience with process validation, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ.
- Knowledge of Health Canada regulations, GMP, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and quick application of new information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive software suites.
- Positive attitude with a proactive, self-disciplined approach.
