We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at BJ PACKERS as an Industrial Butcher Helper. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the meat processing and packing process.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation and Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
- Packing and Quality Control: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, and check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
- Assistance and Cleaning: Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, and clean machines and immediate work areas.
- Meat Cutting and Preparation: Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn is essential.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 15 to 40 hours per week.
