Purchasing Agent Job Description

KANDYFIRMZ LTD. is seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies in accordance with company specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices and terms.
  • Review and analyze quotations to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Determine contract terms and conditions, including delivery schedules and payment terms.
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Work closely with the operations team to plan and organize logistics and operational activities.
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
