VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a full-time, Board Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to enhance our dedicated team focused on pet health care.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal residency in internal medicine, with Board Certification or eligibility for the certifying examination.
- A valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, allowing practice in Canada.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with other specialists and emergency veterinarians.
- Exceptional diagnostic abilities and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Compensation Package: The annual salary for this role ranges from $180,000 to $250,000, with potential eligibility for additional variable pay programs.

About VCA Animal Hospitals: Experience the beauty of Victoria, known for its mild climate and stunning natural surroundings. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 20,000 sq. ft., equipped with advanced technologies including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI imaging, and an on-site diagnostic laboratory.
Our Intensive Care Unit is designed to provide comprehensive patient support and specialized consultations for internal medicine cases, as well as critical care on a referral basis. The West Coast Cancer Treatment Centre within our facility utilizes cutting-edge innovations in veterinary diagnostics and treatment.
We are expanding our referral hospital and seek a second Internal Medicine Specialist to ensure consistent and comprehensive care for our community.
