Truss Builder/Fabricator Job Summary

Timber-Tech is seeking a skilled Truss Builder/Fabricator to join their team in Lethbridge. This is a full-time position with a competitive wage range of $18.00 to $22.00 depending on experience levels. A comprehensive benefits package is available after a successful probation period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Quality Control and Health & Safety Programs to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work area, reporting any hazardous conditions or situations.
  • Build trusses that meet quality standards, adhering to company Health and Safety and Quality policies.
  • Interpret shop drawings for truss dimensions and joint placement, and participate in setting or jigging trusses.
  • Move materials to the assembly-production area, insert and clamp chords and webs, and position and secure connector plates.
  • Participate in the operation of the press and remove trusses from the jig, transferring them to the exit conveyor.
  • Mark each truss according to shop drawings and participate in scheduled area inspections using inspection checklist forms.
Requirements:
  • Skilled Truss Builder/Fabricator with experience in truss assembly and production.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings and follow instructions.
