About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pre-Board Screening Officer. As a key member of our airport security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen travellers and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering secure areas
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and incidents
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport and report any events or violations

Requirements

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • English verbal and written proficiency
  • Must be located near Kuujjuaq or willing to relocate before starting
