Job Title: Process Lead

As a Process Lead at Groupe Leclerc, you will play a key role in promoting and supporting continuous improvement mindset growth and methods application, using lean methodologies. You will work closely with the Business Unit Leader and Maintenance Lead as a focused team to support the production line and ensure that processes are well documented to drive improvement and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to achieve them.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance lead and business unit leader to maintain and improve line efficiencies and meet all line objectives.
  • Manage the change brought about by new methods and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Organize and participate in prevention activities and raise workers' awareness of value-added production concepts.
  • Analyze the various causes of waste and suggest improvements.
  • Plan and organize various improvement programs (H&S, TPM, 6S, Six Sigma, Ishikawa diagram, etc.).
  • Participate in T1, T2 meetings and document processes and write work instructions and specifications.
  • Define standard processes and tools to manage centerlines and accelerate RCO (Rapid Change Over).
  • Help define daily plans, take the lead on priority actions pertaining to processes, and systems, from action identification to completion.
  • Support the team in the implementation and continuous improvement of their respective Daily Management System (DMS) elements.
  • Share best practices with other Process Leads.
  • Support the Production Manager in fulfilling the mandates of the production operations to meet overall business objectives.
  • Recommend and expedite system solutions, troubleshooting, and modifications to existing equipment to improve and optimize line operations.
  • Take initiative to focus on continuous improvement for personal development regarding updates on industry standards.
  • Promote and be responsible for applying sound occupational health and safety management and ensure compliance with Leclerc safety standards.
  • Provide resources and technological expertise within the plant.
  • Any other duties requested by your supervisor.
