Role Overview:The Senior Receivables Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team of Accounts Receivable Clerks, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in determining credit terms for customer accounts.
- Manage escalations related to collections.
- Conduct various reconciliations, including:
- Verifying that our accounting system aligns with our A/R insurance portal.
- Ensuring customer credit limits are appropriately set.
- Analyzing customer survey results.
- Review and enhance internal processes within the Accounts Receivable department.
- Provide backup support for essential Accounts Receivable Clerk tasks, including invoicing, collections, applying customer payments, and month-end reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in finance or accounting, particularly in Accounts Receivable functions such as credit terms establishment and customer collections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis, Word for document creation, and Outlook for communication.
- A diploma, degree, or enrollment in post-secondary education in Accounting or Business.
- Familiarity with credit management and control processes.
