Job Summary

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of Magnetic Resonance Imaging examinations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to quality control processes and technical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Imaging accredited program with MRI certification.
  • Registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists or Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences recommended.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Previous experience as an MRI technologist is preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a casual position, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our Diagnostic Imaging department. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
