Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Marriott International. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
  • Answer questions about menu selections and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability.
  • Record transactions in our point-of-sale system.
  • Check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with each course and beverage.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking and turning off lights.
  • Present the guest check and process payment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage role.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
