Responsibilities

The role of a Production Line Technician involves overseeing the packaging, labeling, and visual quality assessment of products on the production line. This position requires collaboration with Line Operators to facilitate smooth line operations, including start-ups, shutdowns, and tooling adjustments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Upholding a strong safety culture
  • Conducting thorough visual inspections and ensuring proper labeling of finished products
  • Monitoring production output to maintain efficiency
  • Following standard operating procedures for packaging products
  • Maintaining a safe work environment through the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Assisting with tooling changes and equipment setups
  • Staying informed about product specifications and packaging standards
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives for both the production line and facility cleanliness

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to perform physical tasks for extended periods in varying temperatures
  • Ability to execute a full range of motion, including bending, twisting, and reaching
  • Capacity to remain mobile throughout an 8-12 hour shift
  • Proficiency in using hands and arms for handling and transporting products
