Millomat Stampings Inc. is seeking a dedicated Precision Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be able to operate both conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables accurately.
- Repair and maintain machine tools and components.
- Calibrate and maintain precision measuring instruments.
- Document deviations from specifications and maintain inspection records.
- Verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Set up and operate various machine tools efficiently.
- Ensure products meet accuracy and specifications.
- Own transportation is required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and handle repetitive tasks.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods and working overtime as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable and able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in the workplace.
- Quick learner with efficient interpersonal skills.
