Key Responsibilities- Monitor and supervise students during designated periods to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Be aware of school rules and emergency plans to respond promptly in case of an incident.
- Supervise students during lunch times, promoting healthy eating habits and cleanliness.
- Be aware of students' medical and behavioral situations, maintaining confidentiality and providing support as needed.
- Ensure the safety of all students at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
- Respond to incidents and report serious infractions to the school administration.
- Refer students who are ill or injured to appropriate medical attention and report serious accidents immediately.
- Cooperate with school staff to maintain consistent disciplinary practices and procedures.
- Successful completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Team player with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
The Wellington Catholic District School Board offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.33, plus 4% vacation pay. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and staff while making a positive impact on their educational experience.
