Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including acute, transitional, personal care home, and home care. As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will apply the nursing process to support clients in achieving their optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to support clients in achieving their optimal health outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of clients
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Fetal Health Surveillance in Labour
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
