About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Tamarack Physiotherapy and Massage Ltd. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Programs: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of treatment programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the guidance of our physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient rehabilitation progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments with patients, ensuring timely and efficient use of our resources.
  • Medical History: Obtain patients' general medical and ophthalmic history, as required.
Computer and Technology Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Area of Specialization
  • Physiotherapy: Focus on rehabilitation and treatment of patients with physical injuries or disabilities.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high levels of attention to detail in patient care and documentation.
