Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at JP Sekhon Transport Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
