Position OverviewAs we enhance our Canadian development team, we are in search of experienced Software Engineers who excel in Java and/or JavaScript.
Your RoleIn your capacity as a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Take charge of designing and implementing product features, whether focusing on front-end, back-end, or full-stack development, depending on your expertise and interests.
- Drive projects and collaborate with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and articulate technical designs.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with either Java or JavaScript.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or related technologies.
- Experience with the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and implementation of essential system features using your Java and/or JavaScript expertise.
- Collaborating closely with Product Management and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.
- Advocating for architectural improvements to ensure our platform remains competitive.
- Mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
