Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and report on medical imaging results to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of imaging findings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology advancements and best practices.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
  • Provide guidance and support to radiologic technologists and other staff.
Requirements
  • Holds a Master of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences from a South African medical school that is recognized by the World Directory of Medical Schools.
  • HPCSA - Certificate of Good Standing; and Certificate of Registration as a medical practitioner.
  • English as a first language.
  • 2-3 years experience as a radiologist.
