Position Overview

The Dogg House Tavern is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and offer recommendations on food and beverage selections.
  • Order Management: Take customer orders accurately and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
  • Payment Processing: Present bills to customers and handle transactions efficiently using cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining environment.
  • Wine Knowledge: Provide insights on wine selections and perform sensory evaluations as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train other servers and support staff to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Legal Requirements: Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The primary language of communication is English.
