At Spexi Geospatial Inc., we're revolutionizing the way organizations access and utilize high-resolution aerial imagery. Our innovative Fly-to-Earn platform empowers drone pilots to earn rewards for collecting valuable data, while enabling businesses to quickly access and analyze this data to inform their decision-making.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our geospatial data marketplace platform. As a key member of our team, you'll design and develop scalable, sustainable, and secure systems that integrate with our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative geospatial data marketplace platform features
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services
  • Take ownership of tech stack components and contribute to frontend architecture
  • Maintain high-quality, well-documented code using industry best practices
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements
  • BSc. in Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with a history of creating large-scale production systems
  • Expert proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and modern frameworks (React, Tailwind)
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructure environments (AWS specifically), performance optimization techniques, and modern build tools and workflow automation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, agile environment
