The successful candidate will work in a clinic setting, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Gather medical histories from patients, their families, or other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough examinations to assess patients' health and identify any diseases or injuries.
- Request laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine suitable treatment options.
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary.
- Provide health care advice to patients.
- Offer counseling and support on various health and lifestyle matters to patients and their families.
- Certification from the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) is required.
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) is mandatory.
- Fast-paced environment requiring strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Adaptability and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Free parking is available.
- This is a permanent position.
