About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications General Manager to join our team at CHEEMA SMART SOLUTIONS LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the telecommunications department, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to ensure the team is meeting expectations.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
Supervision

The Telecommunications General Manager will supervise a team of 1 to 2 people, with the potential to expand to 3-4 people.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to allocate resources effectively. Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a large workload and tight deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Work Conditions: Permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, with a focus on English language communication.
