Cashier Team Lead

Rikas Grocers Ltd is seeking a skilled Cashier Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail store operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient store operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of returns and exchanges.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely restocking.
- Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of cashiers to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions and maintain a secure and accurate cash handling process.
- Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Accurate: Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Excellent Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Duration: Permanent position.
