Job Title: Construction Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Stonehaven Construction Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and reading blueprints to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work requiring heavy lifting and handling
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to work safely
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work on a construction site, outdoors, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
