About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at 2212089 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning

You will work closely with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Treatment Program Implementation

Under the direction of our physiotherapists and occupational therapists, you will carry out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities, using a range of exercises, apparatus, and manipulations.

Equipment Maintenance and Management

You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure it is in good working order and ready for use.

Program Planning and Development

You will work with our team to plan and develop physiotherapy programs that meet the needs of our patients.

Exercise Selection and Implementation

You will select and implement appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of patient interaction.

Physical Capabilities

You will be required to perform tasks that involve hand-eye coordination, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education

You will have a strong educational background in a related field, such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy.

Experience

You will have at least 1 year of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices.

Language

You will be fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

You will work a regular 32-hour per week schedule, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
