Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Service Shop Technician to join our team at Groupe Kenworth Montréal, a division of PACCAR of Canada. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and general repairs of heavy vehicles, diagnosing and repairing pneumatic and electrical systems, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components on trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:
  • Review work orders and discuss them with the supervisor;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups;
  • Diagnose and repair pneumatic and electrical systems;
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers;
  • Carry out repairs on all vehicle components;
  • Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs of heavy vehicles.
Requirements:
  • DVS in heavy vehicle mechanics or other related field;
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy truck mechanics;
  • French and English (spoken and reading - functional level in order to follow American manufacturers' warranty repair processes);
  • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license (class 1 - bonus);
  • Possess a tool box as well as your enrolment to the Comité Paritaire d'Automobiles (CPA).
