We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medicine/Oncology team at Oak Valley Health. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs, including those with cancer.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses
- Current BCLS certification
- Oncology Foundations Course Recommended or willing to complete within 1 year of hire
- Level 2 ICU Stepdown certificate or willing to complete within 1 year of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medicine with an emphasis on oncology
- RNAO membership is preferred
