System and Process Optimization Specialist

About This Role
The System and Process Analyst will work closely with various departments to understand their requirements and processes. This role will improve business efficiency and productivity by revising and enhancing processes through data analysis, research, and studies. The Analyst will be an important source of information related to the ERP system and will have knowledge of general business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support shop floor operations, including transactions and system problems
- Analyze offload, level loading, batching, production surplus, and obsolescence
- Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity and suggest ways to improve existing processes
- Ensure transaction integrity and run daily sanity checks to address any issues
- Review horizontal plan load requirements and follow the status of projects
- Action schedules changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business or equivalent experience
- Ability to write reports and present information to managers and peers
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably ORACLE
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret technical and non-technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- CPIM certification is an asset
