Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Port Alberni Holdings Ltd. dba Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Hire and manage food service staff.
- Operations and Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
