Office Administrator - Admissions

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our Admissions team at LCI Education. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing reception tasks, handling administrative duties, and supporting the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and evaluate potential student applications to determine their eligibility based on established criteria.
  • Provide advice and information to candidates about academic programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
  • Maintain and manage candidate records, ensuring their accuracy and completeness throughout the admission process.
  • Respond to questions from candidates and families regarding admission policies, deadlines, and specific requirements.
  • Support the Operations Manager with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Manage accommodation requests and insurance documentation.
  • Be comfortable with problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to ensure a smooth transition of admitted candidates into the programs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or postsecondary diploma in administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are always a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers and printers.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
