Qualifications

The position is based in a child care centre located in a rural area. Candidates should be willing to relocate if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

The Early Childhood Educator will:

  • Design and execute child-care programs that foster the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children.
  • Lead engaging activities such as storytelling, music, and excursions to local attractions.
  • Encourage creativity through various forms of artistic expression, including art, music, and physical play.
  • Support children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Monitor children for potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Create and uphold a safe and nurturing environment that prioritizes the health and well-being of children.
