Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Sibwest Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces, including filling hollows, removing spots, and imparting the desired finish using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Work Environment:

The Concrete Finisher will work outdoors and in various locations, including on-site customer service settings.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Client focus and team player
