Job Summary

The Palliser School Division is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Arabic and Islamic Studies Instructor to join our team at Horizon Leadership Academy. As a Part-Time Instructor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and spiritual growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and instruct students in religious language in the Tahfeeth program
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of all learners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices and maximize student learning
  • Support the Principal in fulfilling the school's mandate by promoting Islamic values and beliefs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arabic/Islamic Studies
  • Previous experience as an Arabic and Islamic Instructor is an asset
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sectors
  • Strong work ethic, ability to relate well with students, staff, and parents
  • Commitment to fostering collaborative working relationships and promoting a safe and caring school environment
