Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Culinary Artist to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Special Meals: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Team Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and recruit and hire staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
