Child Care Program Supervisor

Position Overview:

The Child Care Program Supervisor will oversee the after school initiative, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. This role requires approximately 20 hours of commitment each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and manage recreational activities for children.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance program delivery.
  • Communicate clearly with parents and guardians regarding program updates.
  • Monitor and support children's development and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of recreational programming.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification is a valuable asset.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $18.28, in addition to vacation pay.

Additional Benefits:

Children of employees are eligible to participate in the program at no cost. There are various paid training opportunities available, including certifications in High Five, First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Fundamental Movement Skills.
