Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Team Management
- Supervise food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and food preparers to ensure that they are meeting their job duties and responsibilities.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Skills
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Standing for extended periods.
This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
