We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Maintenance and Cleaning Company Canada Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Work closely with other departments to coordinate work activities, ensure smooth operations, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.

Language: English

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Duration: Permanent
