Retail Cashier Position at Keethanow Corner Grocery

OPEN COMPETITION
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Keethanow Group of Businesses is seeking applications for a Permanent Part-Time Cashier position at Keethanow Corner Grocery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers as they enter the store
• Supervise the front-end operations to prevent loss
• Ensure checkout areas are clean and organized
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
• Process payments through cash, checks, and credit cards
• Provide assistance and listen to customer inquiries
• Operate the cash register effectively
Qualifications:
• Preferred Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Capable of managing multiple customers and situations simultaneously
• Demonstrate sensitivity, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism in all interactions
• Thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
• Previous experience handling cash and operating a cash register is advantageous
• Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
